Hello, I have noticed there have been several new members to the group sign on recently expressing an interest in learning to weld and I thought that it would be a perfect time to demonstrate two of the most common welding processes "Stick" (SMAW) and "Mig" (GMAW) I will give a demo on each of these and then let everyone try their hand and see how they like it. I'm not sure what day would be better for most people and I would like to schedule it on a day that is good for the most newbies. so please shoot me a message and let me know and we can schedule it on (Tuesday or Saturday) whatever day is best for the most people. I would recommend this Meetup to anyone that has never welded before and doesn't have a clue what I'm even talking about. Please wear long pants and at least bring a long selave cotton shirt that you wont mind getting burned, it prolly wont but just in case. Bring a pair of safety glasses, gloves and earplugs if you have them.

Also if you are positive you want to get into this whole welding thing I would suggest buying a welding helmet prior to this meeting because I'm not sure we will have enough to go around I have one extra someone can borrow.
